What makes “good news” good? In the Christmas narrative of Luke chapter two, the angel of the Lord makes a majestic birth announcement, stating the birth of Jesus is “good news” for all people. Yet, many people haven’t come to see Jesus’ birth as “good news.” Why not? The answer most likely lies in the truth of the “bad news.” You see, “good news” isn’t really good unless we know the “bad news.” Without the “bad news,” the announcement of Jesus’ birth is simply news; it’s neutral. If you want to experience the “good news” of Jesus’ birth, join us for this Christmas with Us message, Good News.
